Destiny Beta

I got an email today from Amazon and if you pre order you will get access to the beta.  Does any one know any info on when the beta will take place.  Destiny's website http://www.destinythegame.com/wheretobuy
Also confirms some retailers will be giving out beta codes so there is going to be an xbox one beta. At the very least I will preorder from amazon as they will not charge me till it ships so if I don't like what I see in the beta then I can cancell my preorder.

Just preordered mine and amazon says you will receive a beta code with in 8 business days and the beta will take place this summer. No specific dates but I can wait.

And I have revived a code. Off to the website to enter it in.

I had thought about the Destiny beta but I've kind of cooled on the game since I haven't been seeing/hearing much about it lately.  Plus I'll most likely be too involved in ESO to really give the Destiny beta time it deserves.  Let us know how it is!

It's hard to say what it will be like as there's been such little gameplay shown.  I'm sure there will be Halo like elements just because of the team that is making the game.  I'm glad they are having a summer beta so that will finally start opening up the game to be seen and commented on more.  I also imagine there will be a ton of info/gameplay released at E3.

I signed up for the beta, twice, back in December.  You get a beta code no matter where you make your preorder.  The scheduled release is September so imho a beta is not likely until July.
