The true **BOSS** is back!!

Okay, let me set the scene....

It's Saturday, 4/3 and I received the new April 5th edition of Auto Week. So as I'm going through the contents I see nothing really interesting. But then again, it's a car rag (read as "magazine" for those that aren't gear-heads). So I'm thumbing through and between the new Audi Spyder and the classic car section around page 20...I see it . The skies open, tears come to my eyes and before I know it I've screamed the loudest "WOW" I've said in awhile. My wife looks up and sees the magazine in my hands and goes back to her book....totally understanding that I've just seen "some car" that she's not interested in at all.

But there it sits...the 2011 Mustang WITH A CHROME 5.0 BADGE

Now for those that don't know...this is a BIG deal for true mustang / muscle car guys. The GT badge has been around for awhile because the engine no longer represented the 5.0...it was a 4.6 liter engine. The California edition has the C-stripe...but the NEW and improved 5.0 will make people afraid to pull their wimpy rides from the garage in the morning. They will hear the growl in the neighborhoods and tremble as they drink the morning coffee (including myself --but I have a supercharged Roush). This will be a great time for true American muscle, and nothing can compare....NOTHING!

great, that means there will be alot of those around here. i swear I'm in the Mustang capitol of the world. Wounder how many people will trade in last years model for this LOL....

That's a bad looking ride. I actually had a dream of my favrite mustang last night. It looked so cool , the paint job and body work sparkled like diamond sitting on sun reflecting hottness. I want one I can customize!

I used to love Mustangs till I was in highschool and every rich boy and motor head had one. I like how they went back to a more retro style recently.

Meh.

I had a red one back in the day 90 model with chrome ponies on it....God I miss that car. There is NOTHING in the world that has the same feeling as Horsepower under the hood of a bad ass sports car. Dropping the clutch in first and then grabbing second....still spinning the whole time.

I had a 91 Green with some black 17" rims in the front 18" in the back but the lip of them were chrome they were awesome. It's still my favorite car I ever owned and spent a whole lot of money into I had the hutchback that thing hauled ass. oh and I had 2 15"'s in the back it literally took up the whole trunk lol ahhh memories Cass lived in this Apt complex that made you go around the world and he could still hear me coming a mile away . I really can't believe they brought them back out I never thought they would.

Whoa!! Felt that one ... my first car was a '67 Stang. (I will now roll over and have a cig.)

I drive a red Mustang with white racing stripes... but it is a 2000. Had a truck but my folks used it for cash4clunkers and I took their Stang. Fun to drive, but I miss my truck.

My car was handed down to me from my dad when I turned 18 it was sweet hunter green, d@mn I miss it lol!!!
