That was my thought too. I dug a little into the FAQ and it lists some basic min reqyuirements for your rig:

What are system requirements?
If your computer has at least 2GB of RAM, has video card that supports Shader Model 3.0 - then you should be able to play The War Z.

Doesn't seem like it's going to be too heavy on system resources.

I just bought it so it looks like no black ops 2 zombies for me war zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz for me i get it the oct 13

Looks like this would be a really fun game. Debating on whether to pre-order it and what package I would purchase. To me an open world, mmo, zombie survival game is how a zombie game or gametype should be. Nothing linear or being stuck in a mall or being trapped on a small map fighting waves of zombies. I played DayZ and that was pretty fun and WarZ looks so much better.

I just wish that there weren't so many games releasing within such a short timeframe. I figure that I'll pre-order for the beta as the other two options are basically playing the game 15 days earlier in alpha and having a fancy forum badge... which isn't worth the extra 10 to 30 dollars.

We get into closed beta on the 15th as per the details listed on receipt for the purchase.
