Summers End Throw Down! C-c-c-combo Tourney!

Sheet, I thought the race was Friday night. 10pm does sound like it's a bit later than the usual time for these events. Not too sure if I'll be able participate after all.

Ahh, come on. Man up. The whole race will take less than an hour. Probably about 45 mins total. Are you telling me you can stay up to 10:45pm?

He was on GW2 far later than that last night. Shenanigans.

You spyin on me or something? lol, seriously, I wasn't on much later than that. Also, I tend to want to sleep earlier on Thursdays so I can go to work earlier on Fridays, which means I'll be able to get off work ealier and then I have a bunch of free time available for the day. And since I don't have work Saturdays and Sundays, I stay up late Fridays and Saturdays to enjoy as much of those days as I can.

so what you're saying is you'll be on for the tourney?

It's likely if it actually starts near the specified time.

Or I could attend either way and just be a bit more sleepy when I go to work tomorrow. I really enjoy making Interceptor lose... so I don't think I'd really want to pass that up...

Oh it's starting right on time. That's why I made it later. Sometimes I have trouble getting to events around 8 EST, but I'll be on and waiting for this one.

Edit: And yes, full contact is the best way to make interseptor lose.

I'll be on time or early too.

Are we racing lots of laps on one track or a few laps on many tracks?

from the looks of it, 25 laps on one race... with full contact. So by around lap 10 the car's max speed will probably be around 20mph. lol

I didn't try messing with my new router, but I've tried everything with previous ones and nothing ever worked. I'll see what I can do with this one.

He actually almost passed me up for 2nd.
Basically Kenny and OC had a super mega combo on him right after he passed me and got in to 1st. Other than the random take downs Those two began targeting me whenever I got close, my pro ninja skills kept me safe until the last few laps where kenny got a successful hit on me and racecar took it away.

So you weren't enough ninja pro. lol. If I would have been racing, I would care less about getting first and worry more about doing as much damage as I could (mainly to Interceptor). How fast were your cars going by the end of the race?

Well we were able to pit to repair serious damage. Interseptor actually had to drive in reverse for half a lap just to get to the pit.
Mine was struggling to get into 3rd.
Not sure on the rest.

PS: I normally would also have just gone for damage, but had a pretty good shot at winning so figured I'd go for that.

It was fun. Next time we need a small track like Ladera or even one of the mini courses.

I think one of the mini courses with damage off would be fun. Probably would be anyone's race down to the wire!
