S7R Forza 4 B-Class Tourney - Season 1

Emotions ran high as Twelve (12) S7 Members fought from the Class C Title. While we haven't reached the goal of 16 yet, the event was highlighted by the season's first appearances of Glock and Sticky. Hopefully with the extra to tune cars, the B-Class tourney will showcase S7's highest turnout to date.

Now, its on to the S7R Forza 4 B-Class Tourney - Season 1. It's time to get to work and start building/tuning your B-Class Cars. Due to the S7 Anniversary Soccer Tourney, you will have over three (3) weeks to prepare. Drivers will have till Thursday, March 29th to build, tune and test their cars at which point we will meet up and see who has what it takes to win.

The rules are pretty simple and as follows:

This is a Championship Tourney so the event will be 7 races.

Date: Thursday March 29, 2011 New Race Date: Thursday, April 12 2012. No exceptions.
Time: Racing starts at 8:30pm sharp Eastern Time
Car Class: B-Class
Damage: Simulation
Collisions: Always On
Starting Grid: Random
Tracks: Random - Player based
# of Races: 7
# of Laps: TBD (depending on track length, races to last roughly 10 minutes each)

S7 Members ONLY!

The winner will be decided by points base on where you finish each track. The person with the most points will be the B-Class Champion for Season 1. Your overall placement will go towards your season standing and results will be added to the Official S7 Forza Stats Thread. Forza: All Time Stats

PRIZES: Trophy in the Official Trophy Case

This season is really getting fun. It should really start to get interesting with all the additional cars being available for use and the mix of new and vet players has ratcheted up the difficulty too. I look forward to seeing what everyone brings to the races and the soccer tourney.

I can't wait for the next tourney. Got a lot of work to do to get on to the podium, but I'm definitely shooting for it.

I have been pretty busy so I am glad to have the extra time to build/tune. But at the same time I can't wait to race again. I really love these racing events.

Thanks for the reminder wiggles, I'm going to be choosing a car tonight and probably would have tried out the lancia or the alfa romeo.

I'm really pissed that the Delta is bugged. I love that car.

I would copy it but I can't seem to drive most of the cars put up by the front of the pack because my driving skills aren't up to par. I've been playing around with a couple cars but nothing seriously since the end of the C-class tourney.

I've got an A class that I built a back in Oct/Nov that I was using in career mode that I'll probably run for the soccer tourney but I still need to do some work for the B class.

Ahh, OK... I guess.

I still don't know what I am doing with B-Class. I really want to use my Evo X and it feels great to drive. It is very grippy and very consistent but I just don't think it has good enough lap times in general. It is hard to tell because so many more people race the B-Class that I don't know where I should be coming in at on the leaderboard. Probably just need to race it online and see how it does.

While I may still be fussing with Fanatec support to get the shifter worked out, I think I"m going to get to settle in nicely with the RWD converted Prelude. I'm thinking about doing a Barbie paint job. Pink/white with shiny chrome wheels. I may save that for a mustang in the A class. who knows.
