E Class drama

I cannot make a slow car for the life of me... I need y'alls help. Any one got any suggestions on a car/tuning for E class?? I'm sure a good portion of the gues next week are gunna be using these cars : Lotus Elan, Citron C1, and the Peugeot 10-something.... I don't want to use any of those cars or the d@mn spark... Help would be greatly appreciated

Ford ka, Mazda mx-5, abarth 151 are a few good ones.

Try a few, see which you can drive the best. There's no point running a fast car that you can't lap consistently with.

I'd rather have a car I can bang in a 1:57 with every lap, than one that is capable of doing 1:56.

I tried the Ford Ka.. It moves like a viking warship. Utlimately, thats the one i want to use.

Now, by viking warship do you mean... compared to modern boats? Or compared to other ships of the time?

LOL! I was thinking the same thing.

I tried out the old Skyline 2000 GT-R and I must say that I like it very much. My personal configuration is RWD but AWD conversions are possible depending on preference.

That skyline is quick too. Surprising that it can post 1000-2000 placements on about any track.

Have you tried the AWD? I'd imagine that setup is more handling-oriented?

I did try it in AWD. Launch is amazing and I liked the way it handled better too but my lap times were consistently faster with the RWD version I made. I can't say for sure why. It's hard to directly compare because the builds are very different in terms of parts etc...

Hmmm, I'll have to give it a shot. I love the C1's handling but I feel that it's launch made my life much more difficult than it needed to be last tourney.

I'm in the same boat with the c1. I've got a few other cars that hot lap close enough to be decent, but have that extra accel/launch.
