OMG Skyrim. I had to wait in line at gamestop for 20 minutes the other day and just watched the trailer over and over. First time I've ever wanted a line to last longer.

Anyway...on topic -

On one hand, I like the new AI as they are a lot more aggresive and can give you a good race, if you're trying to race clean. On the other, for some races, it's almost impossible to race clean.

For example, the stock races where everyone drives the same car. If you're not 2/3rd after the first few corners, it can be near impossible to win on certain tracks because of you having to go off line to overtake. Doing so usually loses you time and they'll retake the place back.

Another thing, is the AI cars on the rivals overtaking thing. Some just don't seem to care that you're there. Yes, it makes it challenging but it also makes it very frustrating. Hence why I have just rage quit and am thus, making a brief forum visit before I retire to bed. No doubt to dream about paintjobs, tuning and nailing those apexes (edit: And Sticky's mom).

After playing this, I can say it's my favorite racing sim of all time. They did a outstanding job on this. It's definitely better than Forza 3, I couldn't get into 3 for some reason but this one is just that good. Looks and feel are the big difference maker to me. Kinect head tracking is very cool! The car selection is perfect, plenty to choose from. I have a Cobra Mustang 00 that is a Beast, top speed around 206 right now from buying the tune up packages. Painted it with decals. I tried to upload the pics but they don't show up on the Forza website...anybody know what's up with that? Also I sent a request to join the Club I need someone to accept it. Over all a mind numbing awesome racing sim I will not put down for a while. I'm definitely going to get a Wheel for it, tempted to get something cheap just to be able to steer with one but wondering if I should just wait to get something more advanced, Fanatec<------

I've not used the wheel all that much with it yet but so far, I'm preferring the controller. The wheel is, as always, very fun but I can't see myself using it for tourneys - not without lots of practice (or TCS or SC turned on) purely because I don't like having to 'see-saw' the wheel to correct spins.

Yeah I did notice that people tend to see-saw on video's I've watched, the controller is precise and I do like it but I'm wondering if you have better control with a wheel...anyone else what's your take on the wheels. I'm considering that microsoft hybrid <----my word...controller what do you all think?

Isn't that motion control? I'd imagine it's somewhat fun but what makes the wheels awesome is the resistance and force feedback.

You do have better control with the wheels in regards to holding a line and achieving a smoother driving style. In Forza 3, I could achieve pretty much the same hot lap speed with both, with the wheel being harder to recover from bumps/shunts with.
