Red pinging on COD

In the past couple of days I have been getting red ping every time I try to play BLOPS. Reset my router and same result. It says my nat is open but red ping every time. Any idea why to do to fix it?

If you've done a complete reset on everything and still get it, I'd ask how old is your router? I had that issue once before....bought a new one and back in business.

I called my cable company and they are coming out tomorrow so hopefully it will be all figured out

I received a new modem from comcast first, but it didn't work until I got the router.

Are your speed test still up to what you are suppose to be getting? Have you noticed any other internet issues like web pages loading slowly?

I checked that and then called my cable company. They were low.

if your running wireless router in your house make sure you have a wep key on it ... just to make sure no one is eating your net

Well it ended up being an easy fix. When they set up my modem the installed a "booster" But they tend to break easy and become more of a problem than a help he removed it and I'm back to full speed.

This is a wireless connection my xbox is hard wired and gets a better connection. This is about were it has been for a while though. Good enough for me to host and get you moderate Nat people together in one room.

Sorry I edited my post, That is from a wireless connection in the top floor of my house. My router is in the basement. I run a Hard line to my box to get better speed

My speed is about half that OC. So you're doing fine.
