Digital SLR's

Post by S7 OC on Sat Jun 04, 2011 10:21 pm

I am thinking I want to upgrade my Nikon D70 and buy one of the newer now better Digital SLRs that also take HD video. My video camera that is a sony Mini DVR is now also rather out dated and this would be a two for one replacement. I love Nikon and would probably stay with them. They have a new line of cameras like the D5100 and the D3100 that seem to be lower priced but interest me alot. Any one have any insight on this? (Jwriter, Interseptor)???

I have a Canon EOS 550D, I think it's called a Rebl T2i stateside but it does excellent video and the sound is pretty impressive too tbh.

The only problem with DSLR's for HD video is that the autofocus won't be up to the standards of a camcorder, so you need to bare that in mind.
