the only thing i dont know as i am not to smart when it comes to pc stuff

i run DDR3 and that card is DDR5 can i still use it ?

i dont know much about computer hardware either sticky but it sounds like an upgrade to me!

well i know the that card is one of the best out there right now !!!
and its alot better then the one i have

90% sure you can use it. the gpu's onboard ram doesn't have to correspond to the ram on your mb. as long as you have a free pci-e 16 slot, should have no problems. oh and GRATS!

Yeah, the RAM on GPUs has been different to that on the mobo for as long as I can remember.

What is your other GPU?

right now i am using a ATI Radeon HD 5450

Ah, shame it's not nVidia. You could've used the card for dedicated PhysX.

epic would that new card still work on my pc i know i meet all the recommended setting like power and all that but DDR5 has me worried .. but worse case ill just wind up selling it

Yeah, the new card will work fine. The DDR5 is just the type of RAM the GPU uses , it has no impact on your RAM type, or anything.
