Don't mess with the Presidential Motorcade

Have you ever wondered what all those extra SUVs are in
Presidential or VIP motorcades? You know, the ones with
seriously black tinted windows. The SUV's that pull up but no one gets in or
out of....ever?
Well, wonder no more. They have a 6 barreled 7.62 mm mini
Gatling guns. They Fire over 4,000 rounds per minute The wipers need to
be run to remove spent casings when the weapon is firing. This video is
from the company that makes the rigs. The vehicle is also armor plated. Listen to

Meanwhile, I've only lived here for over twenty years and seen my share of motorcades, presidential parades, and served as a member of the Presidential Honor Guard (with 8th & I Marine Barracks) before hitting the fleet.

It's cool Glock, not sure if you're trying to be funny... but they are called Dillon M134D Gatling Guns if you need to research it for real. They've been mounted on Helicopters, gunships, Humvees, etc. for years even back to Vietnam. They are also mounted on the SUV's here in DC....yeah, really!

Well I was never angry and respect his views, but just didn't understand what made Glock (or anyone for that matter) think its so hard to cut a d@mn hole in the roof of an SUV and add a couple swinging doors that open up to protect the gunner. Heck, here's one mounted on the bed of a cheap small pickup.



Think maybe the Secret Service (with nearly unlimited funds) can't get the company to bolt one on the floor of a $35,000 SUV? It's just not that inconceivable to start an argument about...regardless of the fact I was saying what I've seen. Well, it would be ignorant to think it was out of the realm of possibility, but I have done a lot more in the military and in law enforcement than work in a federal prison... as well as know plenty of people, family included who work in other agencies of the federal gov't.
