Late Night Forza Series - Event 1

Late Night Forza Series Begins...

OK, and here we go! I am please to announce the first official race in the Late Night Forza Series. This race, like our normal series, will be worth overall points that we will keep track of as the season progresses. At the end of the season the person with the most overall points will be the Late Night Series Champion. The Season will be a total of 7 events designed to be both fun and challenging as well as different from the normal events we usually hold. Each event will be different from the last and generally more "fun" than the standard series races. All S7 members are welcome and encouraged to show up, especially the late night guys. So, with the introductions out of the way, let's get down to the fun...

Random Stock Race: This is our first official event in the Late Night Series. The Random Stock Race is pretty much what it sounds like. Everyone will be required to race completely stock cars choose from the A-Class showroom. You are not required to buy or tune anything. All you have to do is show up ready to race. Each round a car and track will be selected at random. Everyone will then select the car from the showroom and the race will begin. No tuning set-up's will be allowed. Each car will be completely stock. It's up to the driver to make the difference.

Time: Midnight (Central)
Date: Friday, January 28, 2011
Maps: Random
Car Selection: Random
Damage: Simulation
Collisions: Default
Class: A-Class

*Qualifying, if necessary, will also be with a randomly selected car and track. Qualifying starts at Midnight sharp, don't be late.

All S7 Members and recruits are allowed. Be there!

Ahh how interesting. Now OC will just blow everyone out of the water.

I really hope I can make this, i've been waiting for some stock races...

It really is a lot of fun. For those of you haven't done it, you won't be disappointed.

I hope to make this i might have a chance with you guys now...

lol maybe I'll have a chance too - don't think I ever got the tuning right on any of my cars. Or maybe I'll get wrecked out in the first turn each time - either way, who cares, should be fun! I'll try to be there.

Will this be a problem in general or just for next week? I had to change it due to my schedule with my kids and I just couldn't do it the same weekend I have the kids. Let me know and I'll see what I can work out.

i work 10 days on and 4 off... 11:30pm to 8:30am -
Tuesday to Thursday basically...

So like I'm off Jan 21-22-23-24.
then Feb 4-5-6-7.
then Feb 18-19-20-21.

If it falls on my weekends to work,I can't make it... but its all good either way... If I can make it, I'll do my best to be there

and as you can see I work VERY hard...
oh wait no... need to bring my xbox with me lol

Well, we can look at changing it around to the other weekends again. Would everybody be ready to race this Friday (tomorrow)? It's not like we have to build a car for this Tourney.

Also, Knightowl - What time do you get off from work on Fridays?

Well, I guess I'll be on tonight and see who all shows up. If we have a good crowd, we'll do it tonight. If not, we'll do it next week as planned. See you guys tonight (or next week).

Understandable. Generally, we have events every 2 weeks but sometimes things get switched due to peoples schedules. Right now, it is officially scheduled for next week but Wiggles has a problem and can't make it. So.... I was seeing if everyone could make it tonight. As it stands now, I will be on tonight. If we have enough people show up, we will go tonight. If not, we will go next week.

Alright, i'm back and i'm drunk. If I can stay awake, I may make it. Though i'll probably only JUST be better than OC

That said, I just realised it's like 5am for me. I'm not gonna be up at that that time, unless i've just got home from some girls house. In which case, i'll be lacking the testosterone required to tace properly...

i dont work on fridays i have the whole day off

last night was a blast, i had a lot of fun. If you didn't make it you missed out. Hopefully we can get a full room next time.

Indeed, it was a great time! If you get a chance, you really should show up. It's a little different, and a lot of fun. More details will follow but it is worth noting that the late night series will be full contact racing. I will announce the next event sometime in the next few days.

Official standing after last weeks races are coming soon...

I think the normal season should be full contact, since it usually ends up that way anyway.
